This work began as an exploration of water as an essential element. The water provided a construct for composing abstractions of a variety of forms. I created abstraction with the way the water mirrored, refracted, and bent the light, or how water took shape around objects and broke the surface tension. I started with the human form and then moved to objects. The objects I chose were tools that remained from my family farm which is now gone.
